Week 6 Presentations

This week we started off the presentations with a special treat from the staff...a play based on the children's book 'Room on the Broom' by Julia Donaldson.

Here is the witch waving her wand!

Sarah's class made tambourines and sang us a song using opposite pairs of English words like 'Yes please' and 'No thank you'.

They also showed us drawings they'd made of 'opposites'. Like these ones below...

Sarah D's class gave us a really fascinating presentation on China and even painted their faces with Chinese symbols.

Emilia and Tania's classes joined forces to perform a wonderful play about Yeh Shen, the Chinese Cinderella.

Jenny's class made the most amazing musical instruments and peformed the song  'I am the music man' using the instruments as props.

Nij's class gave us presentations on 'luxury' items. Here Vera and Anuar presented us with their slightly unusual take on a luxury item, 'luxury rubbish' - intriguing!

Patrick's class shared their 'dream holidays' with us, from Tokyo to Rio de Janiero!

Fran's class came up with a fairy tale with a twist set in London and made a comic strip to tell the tale.
