Friday presentations - week 1

This week Collingham students went to the Natural History Museum and worked on projects inspired by what they'd seen. On Friday parents were invited to watch the presentations and hear more about what their children had been learning.

Sarah's class did a song about a caterpillar - complete with actions.

Grace's class presented interesting facts about bees and then held elections for King or Queen Bee.

Julia's class gave us "Guess the animal" quiz

Alexa, Amber and Sharon's classes visited the volcanoes and earthquakes section of the museum. They put on plays, made posters about the positives and negatives of volcanic eruptions and even made an erupting volcano!

Our oldest students learned about Shakespeare this week and visited the dinosaur exhibit at the museum. They came up with an ingeneous play which combined Shakespearan style with dinosaur and Pixar characters. Genius!
