2014. Week 4 Museum Trip...

The Victoria and Albert Museum

This weeks museum trip was to the V&A museum, founded in 1852 it was named after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. It is the world's largest museum of decorative arts and design, housing a permanent collection of over 4.5 million objects!

All the classes went to see different exhibtions either on tuesday or wednesday this week...

Lisa and Emilia's classes are learning about fashion and clothing. Here they are trying on the costumes in the Theatre and Performance!

There were some brilliant costumes to choose from...

 Even Emilia joined in...

It looks like everyone had so much fun!

But they also had to fill out their worksheets too...

After everyone had finished their work there was an opportunity for the groups to meet up, sit outside in the sunshine and talk to their friends about what they had seen...

Here is Claire's group enjoying the sun!

Although Sarah's class didn't go to the Museum, they had lots of fun at school. Here they are doing some drawing and colouring about their feelings.

We hope the museum visit has inspired the groups for their presentations on Friday!

All in all both the Tuesday and Wednesday trips were fantastic and everyone enjoyed themselves!
